3. Avoid jewellery cleaner - Jewellery cleaners meant for gold and silver are very harsh on jewellery that is gold or rhodium plated. The plating surface may just wear off with time if these cleaners are used.
4. Make sure you remove your jewellery during doing dishes and laundry,going for a swim in chlorinated water,spa- all are damaging to your jewellery.
5. Cleansing is the key! Sometimes your jewellery might get a grungy look. To remove dirt, oil , salts or acids clean them with a damp cotton ball or microfibre cloth.
